Almost every council in England has declared a “climate emergency” and/or committed to Net Zero policies, but what if they are wrong?

Is not a bad thing
  1. First and foremost, CO2 is plant food. 
  2. More CO2 helps feed more people worldwide.
  3. More CO2 means more plant growth.
Warming
Nothing unusual
  1. Each of the four previous inter-glacial warming periods were significantly warmer than our current temperatures.
  2. We are living in one of the coldest periods in all of Earth’s history.
  3. For most of Earth’s history, it was about 10°C warmer than today.
Temperature
Extreme events are not more frequent
  1. Forest fires across the northern hemisphere are decreasing.
  2. We have seen 250 years of declining hurricane frequency.
  3. Extreme events are declining.
Co2
At a geological low
  1. Average CO2 concentration in the preceding 600 million years was more than 2,600 parts per million (ppm), which is nearly seven times our current amounts and 2.5 times the worse case predicted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
  2. Our current geologic period (Quaternary) has the lowest average CO2 levels in the history of the Earth.
  3. 140 million year trend of dangerously decreasing CO2.
